Our large mining fabrication and machining facilities allow us to produce extremely large products and virtually any product for the mining industry. Our mining fabrication capabilities and equipment include:
- 75-ton crane and 26-foot under-the-hook
- 50-ton crane and 36-foot under-the-hook
- 12-foot x 62-foot horizontal machining
OEM Support
Our fabrication facilities allow us to fabricate products for the mining industry.
We also refurbish used mining equipment for companies who prefer to refurbish their existing equipment.

Many of our customers require turn-key solutions where we provide fully integrated pieces of equipment, starting with fabrication and ending with the successful operation of equipment.
We offer a wide range of services from disassembly, overhaul, repair, building new products and integrating through commissioning. We also provide routine and scheduled maintenance.
Custom Equipment
Petersen Inc. supplies custom equipment to the mining industry on a daily basis. That equipment includes: conveying systems, hoppers, chutes, bins, cake presses, bucket elevators, tanks and custom equipment to fit each unique mining application.

Precision Machining
Petersen Inc.’s precision machining capabilities range from small handheld parts such as bearings, bushings and shafts to large electric shovel booms that are 66 feet long. We also offer portable milling services for in-house and field applications. Our large precision machining capabilities are some of the largest available in the Western United States.
Our experienced team includes highly skilled craftsmen, toolmakers and machine operators. We offer a wide range of CNC milling and turning capabilities including 5-axis machining.
